Questions about the site

Are the tests on TestLark free?

Yes — every test is completely free, with no sign-up, no email capture and no paywall on your results. The site is supported by advertising, which is why the full interpretation is never locked.

Are these tests scientifically valid?

They vary, and each page says so honestly. The Big Five test uses the public-domain IPIP item pool that researchers use. Other tests measure published constructs with our own original items, or are openly playful, like the mental age test. Every test page carries a 'how scoring works' section and a source note — read them and you will know exactly what you are holding.

Do my answers get stored or shared?

No. Every test runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to a server, never tied to an account and never included in analytics. Closing the tab clears everything.

Is a test result a diagnosis?

Never. These tests are mirrors for entertainment and self-reflection. They do not diagnose any condition and are not a substitute for a qualified professional — the disclaimer page states this in full.
